Understanding ongoing changes in glacier and ice sheets is fundmamental to constraining the future evolution of Earth's cryosphere as well as global sea-level. Thus, I attempt to constrain the physical processes that enable fast-glacier motion.
Solid-Earth Influence on Ice Behavior
The tectonic structure and history of ice-covered regions plays an important role in glacial dynamics. Thus, I attempt to provide geophysical constraints on geologic factors, such as heat flow and sediment distribution, that influence ice flow.
